CALL FOR DEMOS

IEEE International Conference on Blockchain and Cryptocurrency (ICBC 2021) cordially welcomes proposals for "show-and-tell" demonstration sessions (demos) to demonstrate research prototypes and decentralized applications. Demo sessions have been proven to serve both as a natural platform for researchers from academia and industry to demonstrate their ground-breaking prototypes, elucidate innovative solutions, or as a wider discussion forum. As a high-profile, leading-edge forum for researchers and engineers in the field of blockchain and cryptocurrency, ICBC 2021 offers a unique opportunity to showcase applications, engage with a highly skilled audience and discuss emerging technologies and recent research prototypes with key thought leaders. The ICBC2021 organizers encourage presentations of demos related to any of the technical areas within the merit of the research area, as summarized at the conference’s CFP.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR DEMOS

Consider a virtual demo as an opportunity to showcase your work in a way that was not possible in physical meetings or would have required to travel with a lot of gear. We will do our best to accommodate demo author needs to present and discuss the demo virtually.

Prospective contributors are expected to turn in a demo proposal in the form of a 2-page paper in the IEEE conference double-column format, preferably incorporating a demo system architecture illustration. Demo papers will be peer-reviewed and accepted papers will be included in the electronic conference proceedings bundle provided to ICBC 2020 delegates and will be subsequently made available via IEEE Xplore.

The demo proposals will be reviewed by the ICBC 2021 demo program committee and will be approved based on the availability of demo space as well as on the following criteria:

- Extent and significance of the research contribution,

- The potential impact on the audience,

- Quality of the proposed implementation,

- Presentation quality.

At least one author of each accepted demo proposal is required to register for the ICBC 2021 at the full conference rate and present their demo at the scheduled demo session.

Virtual Demo Presentation

Authors of accepted demos will be asked to record a video to best showcase their demo. The recorded videos will be available for attendees during the conference. Authors are expected to be available online to answer questions during the designated demo session.
